Aston Villa 1 Birmingham City 0

Hands up, I've had to listen on the radio tonight driving, so I can't really comment on the match. What I can say from the radio is that Ayew looked good when he came on and that apparently Grealish was man of the match after coming on for the second half.

But what I can say with some confidence is that we're not that great at the moment, despite the win tonight, so how bad are The Clowns?

But all that really matters is that we've won, even if it wasn't great and even if we've got loads to do still. We won and our name is in the hat. We have to put this to bed now and focus on Saturday, because that really is what is important. Beating The Clowns is expected, Premier League football is the focus.

So that's it from me, because there is not much I can tell you other than it appears it was the substitutions that did it. So on that, I have to leave you - back in the morning after I've watched the game.

What I will say though, seeing as I always have an opinion is this; if Ayew had the game many are saying, he has to start at the weekend. And if Grealish had the impact he did, he's also got to start. And I'll ask a question; how were the corners from Westwood?
