I´m probably getting to this late but I´ve just got back to my proper machine and I´ve seen it on a feed, so it is going on here as it´s proper news.
Not that I don´t normally post proper news, but this is a blow and does go someway to explaining why we brought in what looked like one more central defender than we needed during the transfer window.
I like Davies and him having this operation means he will be out for some time and I suspect he might find it difficult to win back his place on his return, as I think Cueller and Dunne will play well together, they are sort of two different central defenders that I think will gel.
We don´t know how long Davies is out for but it I´d be surprised to see him in claret and blue again this year, although you can never tell these days.
