Here we go, Freiburg in the Europa League final

Due to a little trip, I've just got back to my home airport and I've come straight back into the lounge, ready to board the same plane I just landed on, so I can get a flight to Stockholm, then Copenhagen and then Istanbul. And this is what it's all about.

Remember when at the start of the season, years and years ago, you used to believe we had a chance of silverware, well it is starting to feel like that might be the case again.

And yes, I know this might not last but right now, as long as we keep Unai for next season and I write that because you never know what will happen in this game these days, I think I'm going to go into the new season thinking we can win something.

And I'm writing that a couple of days before we might win silverware. I say might because Freiburg are good enough to have gotten to the final and simply because of that we shouldn't be too optimistic. This is a match that can go either way and we have to approach this match pretty much the same way we have approached a lot of matches recently.

And I'm writing about Forest in the second leg, even the Liverpool match at the weekend. Liverpool fans will have you believe it's because the side is disjointed, but we were better than them and we wanted it more. We have to want it more on Wednesday and for 95 minutes.

There can be no silly mistakes. There has to be control. If we have those things and these are things controlled by the players on the pitch, I'm confident the manager will give the purpose to the players and the approach they have to take. If they do their part, Unai will do his.

If you couldn't tell and maybe you couldn't, I'm on cloud nine at the moment. Supporting a Club is about wanting that Club to win silverware and we are within touching distance. It comes down to 90 minutes on Wednesday. And it's ours if we really want it.

Anyway, my next flight boards in fifteen, I have to run. But I'll be back tomorrow. I'm absolutely buzzing. And, there is a post coming up, after the season all on Tyrone Mings, I got inspired. I don't know how it's going to play out, but the core of the post is about the player and how he is valuabale to the squad.

Right, got to go. Ping me if you're heading to Istanbul.
