There requires a post about what's happened this week and it's coming, but we also have a match tomorrow. And what happened this week is only really starting to all come together for me and while I got home at a good time on Thursday, I slept until Thursday night and I've been playing catch up ever since.
But we need a new post and with Arsenal having already won the title and us already winning the Europa League, I'm not sure what incentive either side has tomorrow other than the additional money for finishing fourth or for Pep to leave on a high.
I also suspect that our manager might have a few issues in picking a fully fit side. It's only a suspicion but a part of me thinks that one or two of them might have enjoyed themselves a little over the last few days and who can blame them?
That said, there is a couple or three million pound at stake and all we need for that extra money is a point. I think we should have enough all things considered in getting that. Although I'm not sure it bothers me that much as I'm still smiling and still wearing the shirt I wore on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I also suspect Brentford will do enough.
And while we shouldn't rely on Brentford to get a point at Anfield how our season has played out it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
It's also a little sad that the season ends tomorrow. It's been the best I can remember, even if you wouldn't have thought that every week. But it really doesn't get much better than this. I mean it can, but for us. We can dream or as Ezri Konsa wrote, believe.
So, with the season coming to an end I do have a few posts planned and they're taking shape but we do have a lot of time until the new season and we also have the World Cup, so it's not like we're not going to have a lot of things going on or football to watch.
And tomorrow, while I will be watching our match with the same shirt on I've worn since Wednesday, I think I'm also going to be keeping an eye on the Spurs and West Ham. One of those two are getting relegated and it's going to be quite devastating for whatever side it happens to. Both are at home, West Ham have Leeds and Spurs meet Everton, but who is going to want it more?
Spurs only need a point and I think they'll get that, but I'd like to see West Ham go in leading at half time to put the pressure on. On that, I need to get the lunch on. And yes, still buzzing!
