I'd love Petrov to sign and if he does it will some excellent news and if we could get back to a three man central midfield
It sounds like Ireland just wants more money and based on this season he probably deserves it, but if the story is true, he has been offered £60k a week, raising to £80k a week after two years; are we going to pay anything close to that for a 22 year old who has had two good seasons
the season ended a couple of weeks ago and it looks we're not even going to improve on the position we finished in last season
It comes down to quality in my opinion and while I'm probably deluding myself I want to have a little faith in the consistency position Changing managers can not be good and I want to see what it will be like with the same manager for five seasons
