Super Cup tonight, Lucas Digne and FPL

We have two more matches before the season starts and the bigger of the two is tonight against PSG in the Super Cup. And even though it is pre-season, it’s an opportunity for silverware and everyone will be taking it seriously.

But it’s an easy one to brush off if things don’t go to plan because it is pre-season and it’s not the League. But it is still silverware and it would be nice.

And it’s nice to be back to proper football. I really didn’t like the World Cup and it took up too much time. I’d have disliked it less if it was in the same continent but that’s another post.

Talking of other posts, have you seen the daily AI post from Sam? Short of the long is Sam is an agent and every morning Sam looks at three news sources and creates a post and sends it to me on Telegram and I review and approve.

I will be adding more news sources and if after review I think it’s okay, I say go, it publishes it to the site under the agents name and in the AI category here.

The post is an experiment and one thing I’ve learnt from the experiment is the Birmingham Mail post a lot of stories every day.

One thing I also learn from the AI post was that Lucas Digne has finally left to join PSG. And you have to say, it’s good business. I’d have preferred him to stay, he’s a very good defender, but the money was too good to turn down I imagine for someone his age.

Okay, time to get on a flight. Heading to Gothenburg for a few days and yes, wearing Villa shirt tonight. It’s now my lucky one.
