FA Cup Saturday with rumours about Aston Villa including Polish German international and Steven Defour
I was hugely impressed that one of the first investments Randy Lerner made was in the Bodymoor Heath training facility
I know there are young Villa fans out there everywhere who think the answer to everything is for Randy Lerner to open his fat chequebook and buy loads of stars from overseas in the summer
In the past three seasons, O'Neill has set his stall out to recruit young British players primarily from Stuart Pearce's England U21 squad and the fringes of the full England side
We need a right sided midfielder that can cross and we also need to add quality
Barry played well because he really didn't have a midfield to play against and well we really should have had more but I honestly think we are as lost as Newcastle at the moment
Newcastle need to win and hope results go for them on Sunday if they are to survive in the top flight
It comes down to quality in my opinion and while I'm probably deluding myself I want to have a little faith in the consistency position Changing managers can not be good and I want to see what it will be like with the same manager for five seasons
While I can see that someone would see that, regular visitors know that I believe Martin O´Neill is the right man for us and that I hold the position of manager as the most important in the football club
Marky Mark thinks we will beat Fulham and he has picked a few good results this season
