Aston Villa 2-2 Fulham: We didn't deserve more so should be happy with the point

We started well and the first half was okay, although I should say we were quite fortunate to be 1-0 up at half time, but we were, but it was an own goal. Then, in the second half, it all went wrong.

Before the match, I had hoped and I wrote this I'm sure, that the manager wasn't going to sit back and he was going to get the team wanting more, but he didn't and in the second half, we didn't look like we wanted it.

If someone was to say we sat back, I'd argue a little, but I'd give up very soon, because we just didn't look up for it in the second and because of that Fulham equalised seven minutes in when Friedel failed to clear a Sidwell shot.

Then, Kyle Walker picked up the ball in the middle of the park and ran ten yards before unleashing a shot from 30 yards out that found its way through a group of players into the net. We didn't deserve the lead, but who cares, we were winning.

But then came the fairy godmother of fairness and just six minutes after Walker scored, Friedel came for a corner, didn't get it and Dempsey headed in for Fulham.
