Delfouneso fires England into the final of the European U19 Championship

I didn't want to let this one slip away unnoticed so I thought I'd inform you all that our very own Nathan Delfouneso scored the goals necessary to put the England U19 team in the final of the European U19 Championship this afternoon at the Olimpiyskyi Stadium in Donetsk.

England went behind to France after eight minutes and for large parts of the game The Fonz was used as a wide man both on the left an right but as soon as he was moved up front, he started to show what we all know he is capable of.

Just before the break Arsenal midfielder Henri Lansbury evened the score but that was all for ninety minutes. In extra time, The Fonz scored on 92 and 105 to put the game out of reach of the French.

We all know Delfouneso has a bright future ahead of him and this is just further proof, if any were needed, that he knows where the goal is and he is one to keep an eye out for. He played his part last season and hopefully we will get to see a little more of him this one coming up.

England will now play in the final on Sunday against either Serbia or Ukraine, who play tonight.
