Fee agreed with Leeds for Fabian Delph?

Well, things look to be hotting up with the season just under two weeks away. The talk is we've agreed a fee for Leeds player Fabian Delph. Now, nothing is confirmed anywhere, but it is on Sky Sports as I write this, so you have to fancy there could be some truth in it.

Like I said, we're not getting anything from our club site or even that of Leeds United but one thing we do know is that Martin O'Neill is a long time admirer of the player, or so the speculation suggests.

Delph is 19 years old, so the question has to be, if we are interested and if we have agreed a fee, is he set to join the rest of our very exciting younger players in the reserve this season or is he getting purchased to play a role in or around the first team?

I also have to hold my hands up and admit to not knowing much about this lad having maybe watched Leeds once last season and not actually sure if I did, but the hype surrounding him does seem serious and if he's as good as some of the youngsters we have coming through, or better, than it can only be a good thing.

More news on this as we get it, maybe some time later today the club will confirm a fee has been agreed and maybe a few details of the deal, such as when he will be joining us.
