Is that a no from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to Aston Villa job?

Hope is a demon. It sets you up and when you least expect it, it flattens you. According to reports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will stay with Molde for the remainder of his contact - another two years - but has he been offered a job to turn down and if he is, would he?

We haven't heard from the club on this and there is nothing from Solskjaer in English and my Norwegian isn't great, but Google did a job and it doesn't read good. You can read the story here, but again, if he is offered, would he turn it down?

But, it doesn't mean it is over. It might just mean that whatever compensation was offered to Molde from Aston Villa isn't high enough. It could however mean he isn't coming. It could mean he never wanted the job or it could mean he is getting forced to stay. It could also mean that Aston Villa need to make an offer.

Nobody knows. We know he was over. We know there was a conversation and we know that over 93% of the over 1,000 that voted, wanted him and that is such an overwhelming and never before seen vote of confidence in one man, that whoever gets the job now is going to feel like second best.

I have a feeling this isn't over yet, but it could be. Brace yourselves.
