Bonjour, big match

Well, last night was interesting. If I was a betting man I'd have put money on Manchester City and Arsenal getting through. Luckily, I don't bet and I practise teetotalism.

And it would be so easy for me to sit here and write about last weekend and the League but today we are in France and it's the second leg of the quarter finals of a European tournament. It feels strange writing like this.

I mean, we're fourth in the Premier League with five games to go. Nobody could have predicted this.

But, I'm not getting carried away. I'm not. Honestly.

But today is big. And it's going to be tough. Lille played well at Villa Park last week and a neutral might even say we were fortunate to finish that leg as winners.

I'll go so far to write that if we didn't have the world's best keeper in goal we would have probably lost. And it's not about me writing it, we all watched the game. It will be a hard match and if we get through I'm not sure we will find a tougher opponent in the tournament.

But the manager said it best. "Now is the moment to show our capacity."

And it's early, so I'll leave you for now. Back in a few hours.
